The United States Air Force Jazz Ensemble To Perform In Azerbaijan

The Embassy of the United States of America is pleased to announce that the United States Air Force (USAF) Jazz Ensemble is coming to Baku July 1. On Saturday, July 3, they will offer a master class for students at the Bul-Bul Music School from 12:00 until 13:00 p.m. The same day at 19:00 the USAF Jazz Ensemble will perform a public concert at the Baku Jazz Center (19, Rashid Behbudov Street). Both events are free and open to the public. Media are welcome to attend.

The USAF Jazz Ensemble has toured Europe, the Middle East, and North Africa, featuring the jazz music of Glenn Miller, Count Basie, Woody Herman, Buddy Rich and many contemporary jazz composers. The group also performs original jazz compositions.
