"DOING BUSINESS WITH THE USA" CONFERENCE

The U.S. Embassy is sponsoring a "Doing Business with the USA" conference at the Europa Hotel in Baku on the afternoon of Wednesday, January 26.

U.S. Ambassador Reno Harnish will give the keynote address at the conference. Presenters include Amir Kayani, Commercial Counselor at the U.S. Embassy in Ankara with responsibility for the Caucasus; Robert Hansen, Regional Agriculture Attaché at the U.S. Embassy in Ankara; Bakhtiyar Mamedov, representative of the U.S. Commerce Department's BISNIS program in Azerbaijan; and Elizabeth Perry, Vice Consul of the U.S. Embassy in Baku.

Invited guests include leading figures from the telecommunications, agribusiness, banking and other non-energy sectors. The purpose of the conference is to inform the Azerbaijani business community about ways the U.S. Embassy can help them to take advantage of commercial opportunities with American companies.
