United States To Provide Assistance in Investigation of Monitor Editor's Killing

At the request of the Government of Azerbaijan, the U.S. will provide assistance in the investigation of the killing of Elmar Huseynov, Editor-in-chief of Monitor magazine. The Regional Legal Attache, a special agent of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), will arrive in Baku on March 4 to meet with Azerbaijani law enforcement authorities involved in the investigation of the killing.
